CREST Bronze Award in Science
Over the past few months, a group of dedicated Year 9 pupils have successfully completed their CREST Bronze Award in Science. This award involves a project of over 10 hours that introduces pupils to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) project work.
For their project, each pupil designed and built an amphibious vehicle using household items and wiring. They connected various components, including motors, switches, diodes, and buzzers. The group has already completed a speed challenge on land. They are now preparing to test if their vehicles are waterproof.
