Dance Competition - KS3 Pupils
On Wednesday 30th April, 16 pupils in Key Stage 3 took part in a Dance competition. The purpose of the competition was to allow pupils to have the opportunity to create a piece of choreography in a style of their choice with the top three performances being selected to perform in the Dance Performance on the 11th and 12th June. The standard was fantastic and the support that pupils gave to one another created a really positive experience for all pupils involved. Well done to all pupils who had the courage to perform in front of their peers and who invested time in their choreography. The judges for the competition included four Year 10 pupils, Annabel Cooke, Heidi Andrews, Rachael Eaton and Sophie Carlin, as well as Mrs Hough. The final placings were very close with only 5 points separating 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!
Well done to all pupils who took part!
1st place: Ava Peace and Cara Firth
2nd place: Ada Yuzbasioglu
3rd place: Summer Banks
