Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award - Practice Walk
Last Saturday, 34 of our Year 10 pupils successfully completed their first practice walk in preparation for their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expedition. This marks an important milestone in their journey, with all 70 participants working towards completing their award this year. The remaining pupils will complete their practice walk at the end of February.
In addition to their expedition training, participants are making excellent progress in the Skills, Volunteering, and Physical sections of the award. They are taking part in a wide range of activities, including darts, volunteering in local primary schools, baking, pilates, and golf. Just to name a few!
It is fantastic to see the enthusiasm, dedication shown by our pupils, and they variety of interests they have and are participating in, as they work towards achieving their Bronze Award.
