Healthy Eating Week 

Pupils from Years 8, 9 and 10 designed a healthy lunch-time dish which could be served in the school dining rooms.  The standard of dishes designed were very high.  Mr O’Connor, Catering Manager, selected the winners, who were invited to help with the preparation of their dish which was served later at lunch that day.  All the dishes, from sticky beef strips to covered strawberries, sold out within minutes of going on sale.  As a result of this week, some food items will now be included as regular items on the lunch menu, for example fresh fruit smoothies.
