Netball - Year 7 and Year 8

On Thursday 9th January, the Year 7 and Year 8 netball teams played in their first game since the end of November away at Longridge High School.

The Year 7 team gave a fantastic performance conceding only one goal in the entire game! After the first half, the team was winning a very convincing 15-0. After a team reshuffle at half time the final score was 25-1.
The Year 8 team had a much closer game with both teams looking strong. At the end of the first half, the score was 4-3 to Broughton. On return, Daisy Wilson and Erin O'Regan made some brilliant interceptions. As a result, the team were able to turn the centre over and gain the goal advantage. The final score was 9-4 to Broughton.
