Netball - Years 7 & 10
On Tuesday, 9th December, the Year 7 and Year 10 netball teams played against Christ the King.
Year 7 played in their second game of the league and, after panicky start, they settled into the game and managed to overcome the opposition who were significantly taller than the Broughton side. After numerous significant interceptions by Mollie Killeen, Tilly Rowland and Millie Sealey, Broughton turned over a number of centre passes and played some very aesthetic attacking play.
The final score was 17-1 to Broughton and Lilah Harlo w was the player of the match.
The Year 10 side were strong throughout, dominating the game. They took a very quick lead and sustained it throughout the game.
The final score was 14-3 to Broughton and Ellie O'Neill was the player of the match.
The Year 10 team currently have one more game left to play in the new year against Our Lady's. They currently stand joint top of the league with Our Lady's!
