North-West Regional Swimming Championships

Good Luck to Ben Logan (Year 7), who will compete this weekend, and again in April, at the North-West Regional Swimming Championships.  Ben will be representing his swimming club, Carnforth & District Otters.  The Championships are being held across two Aquatics Centres, one in Liverpool and the other in Manchester. To qualify for each individual event, Ben had to not only reach a consideration time, but also be ranked in the top 24 in his age group in the whole of the North-West.  Ben will be competing in six events across backstroke, breaststroke and his favourite stroke, butterfly, in which he won the bronze medal in the County Championships at 50m. The commitment Ben shows to his swimming is truly commendable and it is great to see him competing at such a high level.  We wish Ben every success at the Championships.
