Rounders - Years 7, 8, & 9

On Tuesday, 19th May, the girls' Year 7, 8 and 9 rounders teams competed at home against Fulwood. It was the first game of the season for both the Year 7 and 8, and all teams performed brilliantly to win their games. Results were as follows:

Year 7

Broughton 11.5 - 3 Fulwood

Year 8

Broughton 7.5 - 3 Fulwood

Year 9

Broughton 8.5 - 4.5 Fulwood

Well done to all the girls involved, particularly Year 7 who were playing in their first competitive rounders fixture for Broughton, yet fielded like they had been playing together for years! Also a big thank you to our Year 10 sports leaders Emily Bradley, Aliyah Ahmed and Evie Duncan for helping umpire the games.
