Summer School 2025
Almost 150 new year 7 pupils took part in this year's summer school.
Pupils were involved in a number of activities including, P.E. Food Technology, Music, RE and CPSHE.
Pupils learnt how to be the next Alan Sugar and became the next 'Star Baker, in Food Technology learning how express their emotions through food. Thanks to Mr Shepherd they learnt to use furniture at home as a drum set! Pupils learnt in CPSHE how they would survive on a desert island and who is a positive influence in Religious Studies.
The summer school allowed pupils to become familiar with our school staff and school, to help them with transition. All the pupils showed great enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
One of the highlights was watching all the pupils helping each other and making sure everyone got to participate.
Well done to all involved.
