Well done to Zoey Thurston, Year 8

We were delighted to hear about the recent achievements of Zoey Thurston (8R). Last weekend, Zoey attended the aquatic GB’s national classification event in Oxford and she is officially an 8S competing para-swimmer. The 8S classification includes freestyle, backstroke and butterfly. To achieve this, Zoey has been working extremely hard, training at least three times per week in the last year. 

Zoey is also training for para-standing tennis and is waiting for the next national classification event.

In addition to participating in sports, Zoey is following the newly published ABRSM’s single-handed piano syllabus in her spare time. 

With such a strong work ethic, Zoey is undoubtedly going to have continued success and we look forward to hearing about her achievements in the future.
