Year 11 Girls' Netball

The Year 11 Netball team played in their 4th game of the Preston League this week, at home, against Corpus. The first quarter was fairly evenly matched with the Broughton side narrowly taking the lead with 3 goals to 2. On return, both teams continued to maintain a strong performance with neither team dominating and finishing the first half on a tie at 6-6. In the 3rd and 4th quarters, the Broughton side were the stronger and fitter side taking a quick lead and sustaining it throughout the remainder of the game. Only one goal was conceded in the final two quarters of the match.

The final score was 15-7 to Broughton and the player of the match was Mia Murphy.
