Year 7 Trip to Waddecar
On Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th September, our new Year 7 pupils attended Waddecar in the Forest of Bowland, for our Induction Day Trip which was action-packed and full of adventure. Pupils took part in a variety of activities including Orienteering, Archery, Tomahawk Throwing, Climbing, Badger’s Warren and Norwegian Crane and, to test everyone's nerves of steel, the Crate Stacking Challenge. The record for the Crate Stack was a whopping 12 crates high. Both days were a huge success; all the pupils pushed themselves in trying something new and tested their nerves of steel on some of the activities. Pupils improved their communication skills through teamwork challenges across many of the activities, but more importantly new friendships were formed.
