Macbeth Performance – Shakespeare North Playhouse
On Friday 25th September, Year 11 pupils visited the Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot to watch a live performance of Macbeth. The trip provided pupils with an important opportunity to see one of their GCSE English Literature set texts brought to life on stage. Seeing Macbeth performed live allowed pupils to engage with the characters, language and key moments in a different way, and we hope that this experience will support their understanding and revision of the play as they prepare for their GCSE examinations.
