U14 Girls’ Football - English Schools’ Cup

This week, the girls travelled away to face Our Lady’s Catholic High School in the English Schools’ Cup. They lost against a strong Our Lady’s side, but the scoreline did not reflect the tremendous effort, determination and skill shown by the Broughton team. Hannah got Broughton on the scoresheet with an excellent goal, while the defensive line worked tirelessly throughout the game. The second half saw the girls grow in confidence and show real attacking intent, with Nula producing some excellent through balls to create opportunities. Despite the result, the girls demonstrated fantastic perseverance and continued to battle right until the final whistle.
