U15 Cricket

On Wednesday, the girls’ U15 cricket team played in the Preston Schools’ Tournament, hoping to qualify for the next round.   Their first game was against Archbishop Temple and they fielded brilliantly, showcasing some excellent bowling skills and, despite Temple having a really strong batting team, they limited them to 59 runs. However, Broughton struggled with the bat and too many missed opportunities for runs meant they lost the game 59-43. Next up they played Our Lady's, and despite making a lot of improvements in batting to hit several 4s and 6s, the bowling lacked our usual consistency and Our Lady’s won the game 65-52. Well done to all involved.
