Year 7 Basketball Team

The Broughton Year 7 basketball team are now two games without defeat in the Lancashire Basketball competition. 

The team beat St Augustine's from Clitheroe in a closely contested game. In the final quarter, 1 point divided the two teams until the final couple of minutes of the game. Jenson Delaney firstly hit one of his two free throws after being fouled whilst shooting, before Jamie Skelding then scored a great lay up as he drove down the court with the ball. The team hung on for the final few seconds to win the game 18-14.
